Travelling to warmer climates is different to cooler places. Layering in colder climates is essential in keeping warm inside and out, whereas warmer temperatures require a different wardrobe altogether. But travelling in both situations adds another level of complication to the packing situation.
Pack one season at a time
If your first destination is warmer in weather pack your summer bag only. You can then post home any clothes you won’t need in the cooler weather.
When you’ve reached the cooler weather you can either organise to have your winter clothes sent to your location or go shopping!
Likely, you won’t need to buy too many things as layering is key in winter. Pick up some thermals, a coat or jacket, boots and warmer accessories you can layer to keep warm in the chill.
