The end of 2017 arrived while I was in a snowy little village town in Kusatsu, in Japan. I’ve found that the things we take with us on our travels speaks volumes to how much we love those products. So here they are!
1. Emma Hardie Moringa Cleansing Balm
That I re-potted into an Erica Brooke Deodorant Creme tub. I also brought the mini cleansing cloth from Emma Hardie as I haven’t found a better cloth to remove all traces of makeup.
2. Emma Hardie Mini Dual Action Cleansing Cloth
If I’ve run out of cleansing balm while I’m away, this cloth will do wondering at removing makeup all on its own. Just run it under warm water, ring it out so it’s damn, and gently wipe over your face.
3. FOREO ISSA Hyrbid Toothbrush
Charging the brush once will provide enough battery to power 365 brushes and while on my trip I only had it for 2 months. I took a leap of faith and didn’t bring the charging cable. Happy to report it’s still going strong.
4. Sunday Riley Juno Face Oil
This is by far my favourite face oil. It’s hydrating, doesn’t sit on top of the skin and works really well when you mix a few drops in with your moisturiser.
5. La Mer The Eye Concentrate
This is the best eye cream I’ve ever used and haven’t even tried anything else since. This is my third tub since I first used it about two and a half years ago and it actually works in reducing my dark circles, something no other eye cream has achieved.
6. MECCA 50+ Sunscreen
My favourite sunscreen. It has a pink tint to it that cannot be seen on the skin but prevents the whitecast common to a lot of sunscreen.
7. FOREO LUNA Play Plus
I take this everywhere with me. It’s become my new best skincare friend and I use it twice a day.
8. Lucas’ Papaw Ointment
This would have to be my holy grail product. It was the lifesaver for my skin in the dry winter air of Japan. I mixed it with my face oil, body moisturiser and applied it to my lips constantly and brought the life back to my skin.
9. Josh Rosebrook Ethereal Fragrance
I got this while I was in Japan from Beautiful Because(https://www.beautifulbecause.com.au?rfsn=608854.f6975e) and it immediately became my absolute favourite fragrance of all time.
10. Erica Brooke Deodorant Creme
I love this product, you only need a small amount, smells great and I can share it with Todd!
